Total wait time 2 days.

Dropped into my FFL Saturday looking for a springfield loaded in 9mm. Yeah right.... twelve month backorder.

Got called by my FFL Tuesday that they had just recv'd two PI9134LP from Springfield ordered back in September. First come. first serve.

Woohoo. What luck. Immediately put both on lawaway... began dros on the first one today.

What a pair of beauts.

Can't wait to pick em up and get the dros started on the second one.

Woohoo.

The Target models are seemingly harder to come by, so that was a good find. Snagged both though, huh?

For the price of the two Springfield 9mm 1911...couldn't you have gotten a better, custom made 9mm 191? .

Congratulations.

I bought the same model about two months ago and it is quickly becoming favorite gun to shoot. 9mm in a 1911 platform is so smooth!

You will love it … or in this case, you will love them! :38:

true. but as a shrewd financier, i view firearms in the $500-$1000 as the sweet spot for most buyers. the first springer is my forever toy. the second is my backup in more ways than one... desireable firearms are a hedge against inflation as well as shtf wampum.

In other words - Quantity over Quality.:43:
I agree ... if one breaks, just pull out the other. If your SVI breaks, send it away for 3-5 weeks, then get it back with the problem unfixed....then send it back with a strongly.worded.letter. and wait another 2 months for a functioning handgun.

Doesnt sound like a 2 day wait time to me.....more like a 40ish day wait time.

I love how video games make it so easy to hit targets while double wielding. I've tried it a few times with dual 1911s and not only did I not hit anything with my left hand, I was barely able to hit paper with my right. Two different targets with two guns is fun, but nearly impossible to hit anything accurately- at least for me.

After a long search I finally found one BNIB. Picked it up two weeks ago. Paid a premium price but it's worth it. Well put together. Excellent slide fit for a factory model. I don't know why I waited so long to add a 9mm to my 1911 collection.
