I can understand it, you dont know its water in there, it could be a poison of some sort. They are also outlawing sticks, poles, shields and other stuff.

"It is unclear how disarming law-abiding citizens would better protect them from the dangers and threats posed by those who would flout the law," Scott said in a letter to Buckhorn Tuesday, emphasizing the words "law-abiding." "It is at just such times that the constitutional right of self defense is most precious and must be protected from government overreach."

Wow, a politician with a brain.

Not to mention that people would actually shoot water guns, but a law abiding citizen with a CCW would not be so irresponsible.

Is that so hard to understand?

The Tampa mayor is a real idiot. He wants to ban handguns but isn't worried about the only people who will abide by the ban. "I am far less concerned with those who have concealed weapons permits than the ones who may somehow acquire a weapon and use it to create mayhem."

Water guns are not a protected right. Kind of like beach balls at dodger stadium...people who bring them, are planning to use them.

If you carry a watergun for self defense, or for the defense of others....sigh.
