Just what it says. I know it's new, I don't see it on the approved list, maybe it is but the list is outdated?

If it isn't on the list yet I am sure it will be soon. Probably the application is in but waiting for it to be processed.

list is NOT outdated.
Ruger discontinued 4" GP100 and replaced it with 4.2" GP100.

4.2" GP100 is NOT on Ruger CA approved handguns list

Good luck finding a Ruger revolver in your LGS. Ruger is having a backlog until this summer.

Interesting side-note. I read in a gun magazine this month Ruger is doing this push to 4.2" barrels to satisfy legal requirements for export to Canada. Don't know why but I found that interesting.

He was asking about the SP - not the GP. Look at the Ruger site for the technical # - then go to the roster.

The GP141 and the KGP141 are both on the list.

Don't know how far north you are but Triple A in Vallejo has 1 or 2. Almost pulled the trigger on one but went with the CZ RAMI instead since it is coming off the list pretty soon.
