so far i've found the safariland 6280 holster and the blackhawk one, but it only is compatible with their proprietary lighting system from what I read...

Look at Fobus, I think one of their holsters is compatible with a wide array of lights, the 6280 and Blackhawk serpa are primarily duty holsters with active retention.

Blade-Tech may have an option for you. If you don't see one on their site give them a call.

For my Glock 17C w/TLR-1 light I went with a "Fobus FO-GLT17 Tactical Self Locking Paddle Holster." Been absolutely fantastic. No interference problems with the light on the gun, nor with my aftermarket sights, it seems to hold the gun in place just fine even without the side strap buttoned down, and the paddle doesn't really move around on me at all. In fact this is the only holster I have bought that I don't hate lol.

I see they also have a G20 version.

I notice the price was only $6 cheaper when I bought mine in Dec 2010.

Note that I am not a LEO, nor do a carry a holstered gun all day every day. I use this holster when up in the NF and when doing a little run and gun. An officer, or otherwise individual who uses a holster all the time would be speaking from more experience than I am.
