I wish I could, but my wife's laid up after foot surgery on Friday. Plus I've got family in town and major things happening at work.

Does anyone know what time and which courtroom his arraignment will be in?

What would the shirt display? "If you idiots knew the law you would be dangerous" ?

or something to that effect. Or maybe Bills FAQ in large block letters.

My wife saw the blurb on the news and now she is all freaked out.
Thinks we are all going to jail.

Well I hope they have some huge jails.

If you can get six other people, you should sit next to each other and wear shirts that say C A L G U N S in giant letters

But like most people, I can't go on Monday morning.

Plenty of threads on what happened all over the 2A forum. I am considering going down there tomorrow to show support. Anyone considering a caravan?

The arraignment will last all of 2 or 3 minutes. I support BWO, but I cant drive over 10 hours round trip for a 2 or 3 minute hearing. More power to those that do.

MrLogan

I can't get out of work, so I won't be there personally. But my girlfriend will go there in my stead; BWO knows me and my girlfriend, so he'll know that I'm there with him in spirit and thought.

If the hearing will be over by 9:00, I can go.

Edited to add: I'll be happy to go if there is some benefit to it, but if there isn't I'll just wait until his trial. If anybody else wants to meet me there, PM or post on this thread.

I guess the picture of me shooting my dad's AK in Arizona on my Myspace page will warrant the cops to come search my home. Also, I noticed they mentioned that he had ammunition. I was not aware that keeping ammunition at your home was illegal

I wont be going because I live in NorCal. But before I went, I would like to know how his rifles were configured and whether he had any listed rifles. If his rifles were not configured legally or he had listed rifles, he deserves what he gets (even though I totally disagree with the stupid stinkin' "assault weapons" laws). Having a web page like that with those quotes and all those pictures was inviting trouble, especially after the Virginia Tech shootings. People who are not into guns like we are, just dont understand when they see those pics and videos. I sincerely hope that he was totally legit and this works out for him, but if he was not legit, he does not deserve our support. We all know the risks involved. Even though its a stupid law, when they say it better have a fixed mag if its going to evil features, they really do mean it. Just my .02 worth.

Maybe he'll be the test case we were looking for.

there will be a huge benefit. the guy is probably full of FUD. I did not see anything in the video that was necessarily illegal, as far as stolen military equipment, you can get that from buying M.R.E's of eBay. the guy is pretty smart. I just hope he did not have anything illegally configured

...and the quote is so insane...

The quote comes from any of several versions of the USMC Rules for a Gunfight:
http://www.grunt.com/scuttlebutt/corps-stories/humorous/gunfight.asp

And is alledgedly written on the wall of a USMC Base in Barwana, Iraq:
http://www.iht.com/articles/2006/08/18/news/iraqarmy.php

It may seem a foolish quote but if it is PC to investigate LAPD has a whole lot of new suspcts to bring in.

i came to this thread at *checks watch* 9:30 monday morning to see if anyone went and how blackwater is doing, and everyone is judt arguing. did anyone get back from the hearing yet???

Well, this has been discussed to death; not much more to say really, at least until more information is known. Hopefully BWO is okay, and gets back here later today and shares with us what he can. I suspect that it will be much like the other cases where he can't speak much about it until it's resolved.

As far as the case itself, I think we would all like to know at least what charges he is being held for.

I have also removed anything not relating directly to whether or not anyone was going to court today.
Let's stay on topic and not add to the fire okay?
