View Full Version : I love shooting more than I love my guns.

I placed in the top three of a falling plate match this evening for both Iron Sight, and Red Dot categories.

I used a 1911 in both, and was beat by a 1911 in one and a revolver in the other.

Tomorrow is a Steel Challenge match (drawing from the holster and what not). I will be using a duty holster (not a race rig).

I wish folks would shoot more and talk less.

I've shot Glock a lot (it's my third gun, but it's in 40), and I want to get another in 9mm so I can shoot in the Glock Challange with a sanbag caliber. Maybe I'll get an XDM in 45 (since I reload 45 anyway).

Man I can't wait for tomorrow. 600 rounds of steel challange (22 and 45)

1911 of course and one with a 22 conversion on a Colt frame.

Actually, I'm just really happy to be shooting pistols again. It's been 7 months since I've competed.

I am just the opposite; I enjoy my guns, gorgeous machined pieces of art; but don't really enjoy shooting them. I have two I bought new and two used in the last 6 months and have not shot at all!!
