I have the browning buckmark camper without the factory fiber optic sights. I've decided to replace the factory sights looking at my options. I've seen some nice Fire Sights on Brownells for $50.00 + s/h and want to know if anyone here tried them. I know they also make them for Rugers so would love to hear from MarkII or III owners too.

I would specially want hearing from BuckMark owers with after market sights. Thanks.

I used Dawson Precision sights on two MK II and like them, I don't know how well they work on Buckmark.

I have the dawson and I have a hi viz buckmark sight. Both are good but I like the dawson a little better. The dawson sight has a better sight picture. http://www.amazon.com/HiViz-Ruger-Browning-BuckMark-Fiber/dp/B001ASY37W

Yes I agree, they are very nice... I saw them on Brownells and was all ready with the credit card. But then I thought, since I won't have any use for the original factory one, I can risk damaging it when I attempt to drill a hole on the front sight and fill it with a white ball.

It turned out surprising better than I anticipated. Infact, I looks like it was made that way. And it happend by accident. I drilled the hole and shoved the back end of a tailer pin for sizing. The pin I used had a white ball on the back end. When I shove it in, the white ball broke off, leaving a perfect white dot. I used the back end of the drill bit to secure it in. The pictures was before I forced it in. It looks even better now.
