Unbelievable, just as I struck a deal for a Hi-Point 995 I see you selling the Marlin Camp 9 which is what I've always wanted.

Good luck with the sale and the move.

As a native Californian, allow me to say ta ta. I'm tired of others bagging on my state. Don't let the door hit you.

I too am a native Californian. And I can honestly say this hasn't been "my" state for some time now. Hope you make a nice home somewhere and good luck.

Jack Aubrey, As a 62 year Native Californian, allow me to say; This has not been my state for sometime now. I tried to affect change to NO avail. I worked with the system, with out the system and still HIGH taxes, liberal BS and oppressive rules and regulations. I am not " bagging " on the state, I just refuse to stay and be beat up here. Do not worry, " the door will not hit me " as I will be closing it behind me!!!! And with that, this is the last bump I will be taking what's left with me ( along with my tax dollars! )
Thanks to all the good fellows on this board ( even the few iffy ones!)

State of California has had a net outmigration for the last several years. People are indeed tired of the taxes, oppressive rules and ever changing regulations. Check the latest census data and research the volumes of codes required to start a business in our fair state. I went to high school, university and postgraduate school here and have only been back 12 years since I left the Army. Except for our family and a really great central Cali community, I'm not sure I should have come back.

California is in a sad direction. Think what it is going to be like 10 years from now.
Very, very sad.

LOL,sorry the place is a mess,I know I used to live there and I am sure it has only gotten worse since then.If you do not like people laughing at CA and criticizing it, you have two choices, move or do something about it.What do you want people to do just ignore what a wacked out place it is and tell you it is all fine, would that make you feel better?People are always most offended when the criticism is based on truth and fact.

Ignoring things is how the State ended up in the sad form is in today. The criticism is 100% justified and exists because the people of CA let it all happen. No one else is the cause of your self created problems.

What really angers me even though I do not live there anymore is you keep sending us people like Nancy Pelosi and Barbara Boxer to Congress, that does hurt the rest of us.Please atleast try to contain the whackos to your state for the sake of the rest of us.I wish the people of CA would lock the door from the inside and keep Nancy and Barbara locked in.

Jack, congratulations on your escape to Freedom and goodluck with the sales,I am very happy for you.

1phattdad are you sure you can say GOD in California without fear or reprisals or persecution?Or probably in the near future prosecution!

We have our share of problems in Cali for sure but I am brave enough to stay and stick it out and do what I can to enact positive change. No running for me. To each his own.

Wish I was riding on your coat tails on the way out. There is no affecting change in this state. It is completely lost. I can't even imagine getting to a place in CA where would be able to obtain conservative leadership. Without that, the spiral will only continue downward!

Unfortunatley, leaving is not an option if I want to stay married.

Maybe we need to take our state back from those socialist liberals that run Sacramento. They are ruining this great state. I can't even go fish at my local beach anymore due to the socialist liberals that made it an MPLA zone. Anyhow I'll save the rant for a different forum. lol

You have ZERO chance of ever reverting the damage that has been done in CA. Sorry thats a fact. There is really only a very slim chance of ever reverting the damage that has been done to the Country as a whole.

Do not think of it as running away. Call it a tactical retreat if you wish:D
