Hi, i'm new to reloading.
I'm looking for a reliable target load for my .300 weatherby markV.
I happened to pick up some cheap 150 grain boattail bullets for reloading my .308 but was wondering if anyone had any primer/powder combinations that they could recommend for this load.
These are just target shooting rounds, i'm new to the rifle and would like another hundred -3 hundred rounds before i'd feel comfortable with the weapon, so low price formulas are encouraged.

thanks for your time. any help would be appreciated.

There are lots of loads in the loading manuals I like the 4895 loads if you can find them because they have less recoil. I tried some 200 SMK maximum loads because I was given a box of them and with the pencil barrel ? "light weight rifle" the recoil was just plain painful !!!
