Talked myself out of buying a complete rifle (Colt 6920CA) to save some money and decided to plan a build. Below is what I've come up with so far. I have this nagging feeling I'm missing something. Anything not there that should be besides magazines? Any suggestions?

Lower
Spikes Tactical Zombie Stripped Lower Receiver (http://www.riflegear.com/p-923-spikes-tactical-zombie-stripped-lower-receiver-with-color-fill.aspx) (from Rifle Gear locally) - 119
BCM M4 Milspec Stock Kit (http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/M4-Stock-Milspec-p/stock%20m4%20milspec%20black%20-%20gen2.htm) - 82.95
AR15 Lower Parts Kit (semi) Rock River Arms (http://www.riflegear.com/p-448-rra-lower-receiver-parts-kit.aspx) - 70
Bullet Button (http://www.riflegear.com/p-58-ar15-bullet-button.aspx) - 20
SUB TOTAL = 291.95

Upper
Spikes Upper (5.56) 16" M4 LE w/M4 Handguards & FSP (http://www.spikestactical.com/new/z/upper-556-16-m4-le-wblk-moe-handguards-fsp-p-658.html) - 575
SUB TOTAL = 575

TOTAL - 866.95

Your link to the BCM stock kit is linked to the Spikes upper. That is a great upper but If you want the rifle sooner than later I would go with a BCM upper. Shipping is super fast.

note: BCM upper groups are not sold with BCG's you would need to add that to your order as well.

Also get their Charging Handle (http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-GUNFIGHTER-Charging-Handle-GFH-Mod-4-p/bcm%20gfh%20mod%204%20556.htm)

I suggest a radlock, in case you decide to go out of state to shoot instead of a BB.

+1 for the zombie lower!

Thanks for the suggestions. Yeah, I was looking at BCM as well, but they were a bit more expensive for the uppers. BUT, after some more research who knows how long it would take to get a Spikes upper. I may have to give more consideration to the BCM. I had my eye on this (http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-16-M4-Carbine-Upper-Receiver-Centurion-Arms-p/bcm-urg-m4-16-c4-7.htm) one.

You will be happy in the long run with a BCM upper and a complete BCM bolt assembly. They are at least the same quality as a Colt and Colts are the best quality.

You might save a few bucks by getting a PSA lower build kit, comes with LPK, and M4 stock, buffer tube, spring and buffer. The trigger quality is pretty good for a mil spec on the ones I've used it on. But the RR should be good also.

dont forget a rear sight!! i would go with some kind of back up rear in case you run optics eventually.

Yes, seems like the only thing you're missing is a rear sight. I highly recommend Troy sights.
