Like the title says, I can't find any yugo x39 ammo for the life of me. I've looked at all my normal and even the vendors I don't normally go to and they all apear to be sold out. My next step after this is to start checking the market place but I doubt I'll have any luck. If my fellow AK/SKS owners could help me out and please point me in the right direction I would be forever grateful.

P.s. They could even be the ones on stripper clips and I wouldn't care.

I dunno i stilll have like 500 rounds but that stuff is a pain in the butt with the special cleaning. I just go with cheap wolf brown bear or tula. Good SHTF ammo though

Your going to pay 270-300 per crate. When the ammo came out not many new how good it was. You could pick it up for $200-230 a crate. Now you cannot touch it at a gun show in a free state like AZ for $260 . I also believe that is gone. You can buy wolf for $220 for 1k rnds at the gun show.

As previous poster stated. Yugo is great ammo. In my non scientific test the Yugo was able to hold groups better than the wolf. The Yugo M67 felt a little hotter coming out of the barrel and its all brass. I too bought a couple crates and keeping my eyes open to see if it comes back. The last batch of Yugo sellers claimed this might be the last of it, that would be sad. Is there any independent verification? Did Yugoslavia clean their shelves of the M67?

I bought 4 cases the past 6 months but none the past 2...Whenever I see ammo and it is available...I buy. Like I said...Unless you have at least 10,000 rounds of ammo you are not really shooting much.

Where have you been in the past few months? There were bunch of discussion about the scarcity of this ammo.

Haha you beat me it to it.

On my monthly load up I also noticed the Yugo was gone. Had to buy Brown Bear.

From what I have seen these things come in waves, i.e. everyone runs out at the same time. Last year it was spam canned 7.62x25, gone forever. Turned back up though, albeit at 1.5x the price. Hopefully in a while the Yugo will turn up again.

You aren't trying very hard. I was able to google and find it in stock in less than 30 seconds. This doesn't include the old-school places that don't have websites.

There is nothing special about the cleaning required, it's only important that you clean when the rifle is used, there is nothing "special" beyond that. Given that gas blocks are not generally chrome plated, a good once over in the gas block and tube is prudent in addition to chamber, bore and muzzle.

I wonder what is the difference between my GOOGLE and yours? all showed that it's out of stock on mine, not that I really need any, just wanted to buy more only because I like the wooden crate that it comes in.

What sucks is that the price is well over $330 per 1k.

This is how I split it, the ammo gets used on my WASR and the crate stays home and I use it as my storage for gun accessories ;)

He probably bookmarked his Google search and forgot to reload the page. :)
