After wacthing the Magpul rifle videos I see there is an advantage in having the mags centered around your waist not up high on your chest. Can anyone point me to a magazine holder of that type? Are there any chest rigs that hang the magazines down low around the waist?

Safariland kydex or Fast mags get my vote. I keep two on my belt and the rest on my chest to refill my belt.

blade tech, is the most solid, but it doesn't stack. best belt carrier in terms of retention, speed and weight.

ITW fast mag are nice if you want to double stack or attach to molle.
