I just bought a couple of these 10 rounders (.223) and they look and feel very well made (steel/blued). Haven't tried them yet. They are exactly like the 20 round mags. except they have an indent to stop the follower at ten rnds. (you can see it at the horizontal line) My only reservation is that the follower is not the non-tilt type.

Curious as to what anyone's experience is with Armalite magazines. Trying to make a decision on what brand to stock up on.

Thanks

Those look like Promags. I like them. They work. I upgraded them with the magpul followers and they work even better.

+ 1 with upgrading with magpul follower. I had one of these mags a while back and did the same thing. I really liked it. I think I got rid of it with an AR I sold a while back. Wish I kept it.

Jim,
I have not had any problems with the D & H mags for my AR's. I can loan you a few to check out if you want. They are 10 rounders.

Those are Promags, not Armalite, and my experience with them so far has been that they're pretty much garbage.

They look great in A1 and A2 20 inch rifle builds

Mine has the tilt type follower and continues to work flawlessly. When I tried those non tilt green followers, My AR wont keep the bolt open on last round. So back goes the original follower. Oh and its a promag.
