I've been looking to purchase another complete upper and with the way parts are backordered and out of stock I'm considering buying a new complete upper minus the bolt carrier group and just using the one I have already in use with another carbine upper.

Any concerns?

No, switching BCGs is fine, switching bolts is probably not a good idea. As your round count increases the bolt locking lugs wear to match the lugs on the barrel extension. Also headspace if you switch bolts might or might not be ok, you'd need to use a headspace gauge to check.

Good, so keep bolts mated to each rifle? Then if both properly headspaced then GTG?

Yep, check headspacing and you should be fine.
