So has anyone modded one of these bad boys to be 10rd cali legal? I think it'd be great to add to my collection of 10/30's. They look bad.....well you know! Thoughts?

I had a 40-round mag back in the day and it was not reliable for over 35 rounds. I don't know about 60 rounds but Surefire is a name they do not want to tarnish so maybe they did it right.

Makes zero sense to block a 60 rd magazine that costs that much.

A little to expensive to turn into a 10/60 imo. Would only be for the "kool" factor.

Is it "kool" to have a big, empty box of air attached to the bottom of your rifle?

What the...? Now I've heard it all.

If you're that hard-up for one, just buy one as a rebuild kit, go to Arizona and put it back together and do a couple mag-dumps. Take it apart before coming back to California.

Otherwise that would be the stupidest waste of money and the most expensive possible 10rd mag I've ever heard of.

the mags work great but seriously why in the world would you take a bigger heavier bulkier mag and made for 60 rounds and cut it down to 10. it looks stupid as well. i agree with sl4ck3r

Your money do what you like. If it was me I'd leave it as a rebuild kit or use out of state when the opportunity arises I'd use it then.

I have shot the heck out of the Surefire magazines both semi-auto and full-auto. They work great!

Now it sounds like I need to find a way to limit them to ten rounds. LOL. Sounds like I might get one sale!

Let me know if you guys need some parts kits. I have plenty of them. I am just waiting to get my 100 rounders in next for well under half the cost of a Beta C-Mag.
