Hi all. I was looking at taking my HK91 to the gun show and seeing what I can get for it. Just curious what would be a reasonable asking price. The gun is very clean and pri 98%. Ill try to post pics if i can figure it out. Any help would be much appreciated

It's priceless in California, literally, since it's banned by name. I hope you're either outside of California or it's a Registered Assault Weapon per the CA DOJ and you're planning on selling it outside of California.

Here's some listings on the GunsAmerica website, they go from barebones to tricked out, with the low end being $2500 and the higher around $4500. Personally I would sell of some other guns before even thinking of selling of one of my RAW.

Funny how many guns I have bought and sold over the years and how much they are worth now.....

Hk91
Hk93
Mac (all version)
AK (all version and brands)
Uzi
Russian dragonov sporter (tiger)
Barret 50 cals
Colt gold cups
Colt delta 10mm

Listed assault weapon, and you can't sell it here. Don't get caught with it if it's unregistered. If it's registered, you have to either have a dealer with a special permit ship it, $$$$, or drive it out of state.

Perhaps its the pessimist in me, but if the OP was planning on taking it to a gun show and selling it (thus not knowing it would be a FELONY to do so) I'm going to hazard a guess that the weapon wasn't properly registered in the first place.

Let's just give the OP the benefit of the doubt and suggest he do the right thing rather than try to call out other CalGunners for forums cred.

In excellent condition you're looking at 2500.00 +/- If it was new in original box then 3k-3500.00..If it was the factory desert camo 3500.00 and up

If its a registered weapon in Ca. You will 1st need to find a buyer and then find a FFL who can handle these type of weapons in order to handle the transaction.

If its a model 911, sr9 or sr9t then you can sell it within the state of Ca and prices listed above might be higher

I say keep it..dont' sell it..keep it in the state

Do NOT go the gun show looking to sell it off. That's asking for either unwanted attention or trouble.
If the rifle is a registered AW, you will need to ship it through an FFL who is licensed to handle RAWs, and they will charge you $$$ for handling it. I've never done it myself or heard hard numbers, but I have heard that FFLs with the license charge a premium for handling a RAW. It may not be worth selling depending on what this is. Call around first.
If it isn't registered, well.......a parts kit is worth ~$750 ish

Sorry guys. I should have clarified that I live in Michigan and gun laws here are less strict.

Every time somebody sells off their assault rifle a kitten dies. Don't kill a kitten. ;)

However....if it is a RAW he cannot sell it to anyone in Kalifornistan. I can't even give (gift) my adult children any of my RAWs.

He can sell it OUT OF California, assuming it is a RAW and using a FFL with a DOJ Assault Weapon Permit. So he can advertise it, and have it legally shipped. But only out of State. Then he has to fill out a form removing it from his file and this State.

Michigan, handguns require a permit, and long guns do not. You can just take it to the gun show and sell it to another Michigan resident. If their not a Michigan resident, then it must go through an FFL. Sell it on Gunbroker. You will get a pretty penny for a real HK 91.

It's sad that a Rifle that use to be sold LEGALLY in Ca got banned because a bunch of a-holes decided t they were no longer 'safe'.
