Don't panic and call the swat team when you count the rounds. I was shooting out of state

I would have shot faster, but I was on 25 power and losing my sight picture because the beast was bouncing around so much :p

I hear some misses.

Lots of legal 20 rounders in this state.

Thanks for the vid.

It's my story and I'm sticking to it ;)

Actually the pings you are hearing are the cases bouncing off the steel pole behind me. With the camera/video phone it wasn't picking up the sound of the rounds on steel that far out.

Wow you should bring that rig out to sac valley this weekend to range 12 might even beat the ww2 rigs with iron sights.

That scope for 200 yards?! Move it back a bit, and try that with irons. Good shooting nonetheless. :D

Mattt, it's funny you mentioned that. I was thinking about it. I might even try for the 600 yard. I'm a comp virgin so I may just come and watch how the pros do it.

I was out there two weeks ago and wanted to visit range 12, but just ran out of time.

Maybe I'll see ya out there this weekend. I heard it was going to rain this weekend, but that was a few days ago.

Not trying no burst your bubble, but that doesn't seem that special. Especially using high magnification. I've done the same thing using my Eotech at 200. 10 rounds that is rapid fire. Put some paper up and show us the groupings with your setup at that range. Now if your steel target is a 4" round, I take it all back.

It'll stop raining before Sat morning. Come on up! Calguns needs more shooters and less posters.

Looks like a lot of fun. I actually just went to lytle creek down in SoCal yesterday and shot 200 and 300 yds for the first time. I was shooting my JP 20" 5.56 and my addax 16" 308 and was having a blast hitting their steel at 200 yards as well.

I did that at 284 yards at the range in Lincoln with just my Aimpoint. My son got a tremendous woody from watching the old man "bang the gong" :)

Thanks guys I think I'll give the 600 yrd a try this weekend at Sac Valley.

I have one spotter lined up.

I wish I could get another guy on my side. He is a USMC PIG and certified USMC handgun instructor. He works the weekends and can't make it out this weekend.

Oh and the steel I was shooting was about 12" in width. It was about 4 feet tall. I was shooting for center mass. They had one at 300 yards also that was fun to shoot at.

I'm back out there in July. I'll bring some proof of my skills back for you all ;)

LOL. Everyone's a pro ;) Me I'll admit I'm NOT, but I've always been a modest guy :p

Thanks about the AR10. Built it from scratch, and she's a beauty.

Try that at 400 yards, standing, no support hand while hand standing on your strong and and aiming upside down. Thus of course is after you spring the 100 yard dash and carry a 180lbs dummy up a 300 step stairway.

I did that and got a 23/20. ;)

Good shooting. Always good to hear the gong ring! :D

Here is a old video of my dpms at 300. 10/10 I think...haven't seen it in a long time. Lol

Shot with a 3-9x Nikon prostaff...

What the heck are u talking about??? Last match there were so many people they had to go up to 4 relays and we only got to shoot two strings... I was dissapointed to say the least. SVSC is only gonna get more crowded if you turn every poser mall ninja and their mom on to the event.

Just like posting your local shooting spot up for everyone to see. Then the disrespectful shooters find it and trash the place. When u post it's not just calgun members and contributors that can see it, its every wannabe and their gang of tactical ****heads that bring trouble to the sport and give us true enthusiasts a bad name.

good shooting!

Its always fun to shoot steel as I just smile when I hear that familiar sound of the projectile ringing steel down range.

I go to my range and shoot up the hillside LOL. I take shots at just about any steel target on the range as 99% of the people are shooting the 100 yard paper targets. After I had the ranges down and all the targets dialed in then I went at them as fast as I could for fun cuz you know in case the SHTF :D

Thanks bro. My wife a few weeks ago set up the .22 steel targets at Sac Valley. She was the only one on the range. She plinked all the targets over right when the range went live after a cease fire. Moments later a group of shooters walked up and they then had to wait 15 minutes to go set up all the steel targets she had just shot down, LOL.
