As long as both parties are CA residents it is legal to FTF transfer C&R long guns.

To clarify -- C&R long gun and must be greater than 50 years old. (Which Mosins are) Old PC section was numbered 12078 (t)(2) -- since they renumbered, I don't know the new section.

So I'm assuming this also holds true for the old SKSs made in the 40s and 50s as well?

any legal long arm that's ≥50 years of age is legal to transfer w/o an 01ffl between two non-prohibited ca residents
