Very nice, my dream bullpup besides the L85. Thought the thumbhole had to be blocked?

Please, a range report when you get it out there. Would like to hear about ejection, dealing with the plastic charging handle, trigger quality, magazine insertion, etc. Overall build quality and any operation idiosyncrasies. It is an intriguing, modern gun but I am not sure if I will get one or wait for the Tavor. Probably similar cost.

I got mine a couple of weeks back from Riflegear and after 400 rounds in ASR here is my verdict

First: Stag Mags that came with the rifle is a POS. It didn't even work the first time around always double feeding, good thing i bought a couple of D&H 10/30 mags and they work perfectly

Second: The BB is very hard at first but after like shooting it around 50 times it began to loosen up and although you still have to pull at the mags to get it out its as smooth as butter

Third: When they say that there is almost no recoil on this thing they are absolutely right. I was amaze that you can do double tap on this thing at 100 yards and still hit the steel plate every time, I could never do that in an AR, I'm a novice shooter.

Fourth: When I was cleaning it, even after 400 rounds the whole bolt and mechanism inside is as clean as when I started, the only thing that would tell that the rifle has been fired is the barrel and the gas port.

Although it takes a bit of getting use to if your an AR user, after a while you too will fall in-love with this rifle

No color fill?

yea...funny about the color fill....everyone says I should do it...but it looks so busy already and doing it on polymer is questionable :). Thanks for remembering :)

Awesome -- love me some bullpups!

Do yourself a huge favor and look into the "Neu-Trigger" mod. I installed one of those and another mod called "Trigger Lite" on my Steyr AUG A3 and the difference is amazing. Neither were permanent mods & install in minutes. Able to set the trigger as low as 3-lb with absolutely ZERO creep or squish -- a little too light for me, so I have it about 4-lb. Trigger is as crisp as my Ed Brown 1911. As these bullpups come, the OEM trigger is disgusting.

+1 on the Neu Trigger. Simple clip in add-on that reduces friction. Some are happy with just PTFE'n the hammer group, but add the NT and lube it and you'll be ahead. Also, if you care to split open the body, you can polish the trigger guide rods for a cleaner pull.

Silly question, but here goes anyways. Does the bolt lock back on the last round like an AR?

Not a stupid question at all. No the bolt doesn't lock back on empty. Fire until click, then manually pull back ch and lock into rear notch. Flip up rear hatch, affectionately called the toilet lid, and check chamber for clear. Drop mag with tool, insert fresh mag, hk slap the ch to strip a round, put the lid down, have fun. :-)

I like your space gun! I'd love to own one one day. Hopefully at that time, magazine locks aren't required and standard capacity mags are the norm :)
