Does anyone know where I can pick up a good quality 1891 Argentine?

Preferably in the Central Coast.:)

I posted in the WTB thread here a while back, but it wasn't much help, so with all the mauser talk lately, I was hoping someone "here" would know.

Martin B Retting in Culver City has stuff all the time. Maybe call them. Online does not reflect what they have

Aren't they legally antiques? If that's the case, hit up gunbroker, find one you like, and get it shipped to yourself.

If you need a set of reloading dies I have one I will never use for sale. Never use because I will not get a rifle now that I am planning a Africa hunt.

I might call Redding.

Simpsons's is out.

Gunbroker is either overpriced or they won't shipped to CA.

ARGH how is finding one of these rifles such a pain in the butt.

If the left side receiver rail is marked Loewe Berlin it's "antique", if it's marked DWM it's C&R.

There are two (long all matching and carbine mix-master) at Gun Country in Burbank, and they have a dozen or so boxes of Argentine ammo.

Gunworld Burbank has a mix matched carbine, too.
