I have all my paperwork finished but was unsure of the preferred payment method of the CMP?

Uhh I have always filled out the credit card portion of the order form and eventually a surplus american battle rifle shows up in the hands of a fed ex driver on my porch.

I've paid both in plastic and certified funds. Either one will work. Then the long wait for the BWT begins. What are you getting?

plastic it is then. I am getting the special grade, I want a good shooter. I figure for roughly $300 a new barrel, stock, and any other parts new or reconditioned sounded really good.

How long does it take after you receive email from CMP that the order has been forwarded to Sales dept?

thanks

I think it took me around a month (maybe a little less) to get a confirmation that they got my order and would pass it on to sales. Once I sent it in I tried to forget about it. (so I don't go crazy)

I finally sent mine in yesterday with a copy of my expired passport. I mailed that renewal as well hoping it'd get the new one back from the state department before the CMP called and said, "We need a current passport" though they prolly shouldn't.

I sat on my hands and missed all the carbines, I'm not going to miss out on the Garands.

Sending in order today as well. 2 service grades. I bet they sell out before summer.

Might need a club membership such as GCA.

During the DCM days when I bought my first Garand, it was almost a year wait.
