I just got my Colt M4 OPS 22LR rifle from Turners couple weeks ago and have shot about 500 rounds without any failure. When I opened the rifle for cleaning , I noticed that the bolt buffer and pin were missing. Did I get a gun with missing parts? If I keep shooting it without the buffer, is the gun going to be damaged? Also I did some research and found that my gun is a little bit different from the one in the cleaning instruction video from the Umarex website and from the ones owned by members here. First is the safety switch. The fire is at 12 o'clock for my gun but the fire is at 3 o'clock for the gun in the video and the guns owned by the members here. Second thing is the fake bolt release. The bolt release of my gun cannot be removed unless the entire trigger assembly is removed first, which is different from the bolt release of the gun shown in the video. Am I getting a newer or older version of the gun? Or a Knock-off.
