This could be considered GREAT news. Maybe she is not as stupid as some of us thought ?

I wonder if Tom Selleck would have anything to say about this

O'Donnell calls her attempts to get tougher gun control laws on the books "futile."

Rosie O'Donnell Calls Gun Control 'Impossible'
In Remarks About Campus Shooting, Calls NRA 'Scary'
AP
NEW YORK (April 17) - The Columbine shootings drove Rosie O'Donnell to depression, but she says she's "almost numb" to the Virginia Tech attacks.

She's so discouraged, she said on "The View" that she believes tougher gun control is "impossible."

O'Donnell has fought for tougher gun control laws for years and once got into a fight with Tom Selleck about it on her old talk show. She now feels it was "a futile attempt" and "there will never be gun control in America."

O'Donnell says the NRA is "organized," "scary" "they have guns" and, she says, it's "impossible" to fight them.

EDIT: I was going to post pics But I'm not that cruel and I didn't want to make anyone loose their appetite as dinner hour is coming soon.

I feel so sorry for Rosie. I hope she doesn't binge eat when she's sad. I'm gonna send her a $5 gift certificate to McDonalds to help her feel better.

I don't think she's "seen the light". I think she's trying to garner some BS pity publicity.

"Waaah ... the NRA is too strong. We should give up."

I hope she goes on an eating binge and chokes to death on something.

What do you expect from someone who relaxes by hanging upside down like a vampire bat. She is just another granola eating commie fruitcake and from the the looks of her it appears she has been eating more fruitcake then granola.

She is just another granola eating commie

the only thing that fat pig uses granola for is sprinkling it over a 5 gal drum of cookies and cream.

Rosie is the same person who said we shouldn't fear the terrorists because "they're just mothers and fathers." Yet, she fears the NRA and other law abiding gun owners in America. JFC, you can't have a more warped sense of thinking than that.

I like how she is afraid of the NRA because they have guns, but not afraid of her government because they have guns, tanks, helicopters, nuclear weapons. I guess she figures the government is more responsible and trustworthy than her fellow citizens. Way to go Rosie.

I suspect Rosie fears guns even more than she fears weapons. ;)

I just caught part of roisies idiotic spew.

She has given up on gun control, she just wants the 2nd amendment repealed.

She said something along the lines of "the constitution has been changed before to protect the rights of the innocents (I would assume she was talking about civil rights etc) and muttered something about changing it again.

I would really love to see her choke on a high capacity assault spoon while chowing down on ice cream.

The problem with her statement is she is not giving up on gun control for the right reason. She did not realize gun control does not work, just that she can not get the laws she wants.

I'd agree with the organized and the reason we got organized is that we kept getting screwed by people like her....

Sorry to say it.....nah! +1000000000000,

She gave up on her looks, her carreer, her beliefs...... so why not her 'issues' that she supposedly once held so dear.

She is a pig; incompeteant in everything and tooooooooo lazy to even attempt to finish anything.

I wish the view would can her; I'll throw a party;)

So how many crimes with guns are committed by NRA members anyway? I'm sick of all these liberals saying that the NRA and its members support this kind of crap.

I remember when she went on the O'Reiley Factor, and Bill asked her if she had a bodyguard. She said yes. He then asked her if he carried a gun and she said yes. I was LMAO at that. Too bad Bill was really soft on her in that interview.

I have nothing to contribute to this thread ... except, this:

Rosie says she began taking medication and started a regimen of yoga and inversion therapy, where she hangs upside down by a swing for 15 to 30 minutes a day. - ABC NEWS

If the Columbine shootings drove her to depression, then I hope this time she's driven to suicide.

We have the moral high ground. The RKBA is a fundamental right. With this in mind, is it really necessary to comment on her weight, her appearance, and to call her all kinds of nasty? It makes us look petty.

Anybody else notice that the political climate has just flat changed?

I worry that I'm insulated by reading so many pro-gun blogs, news sites, and this site, but I still don't see a whole lot of anti-gun sentiment getting very far.

In fact the woman lacking small behind in this thread just seems to be part of the meme of the retreat of gun control.

YES! She earned it. Besides she called the NRA scary. Then said they have guns. She seemed to imply that the NRA would harm her for her stupid thoughts. Her thoughtless outspokenness put her in this position. She deserves to be made fun of...

So, nobody else heard her say that she was on "anti-depressants"? The lady with no shame explained that after Columbine she was petrified to let her children leave the house, to go to school, to leave her protection, and starting taking "anti-depressants".

You know, it makes perfect sense.....only a person on psychotropic drugs could be as illogical as her.

"The NRA is scary and it's impossible to fight them."

Wow, I see a fat lady holding a white flag. There is nothing "scary" about the NRA. The power of the NRA comes from
millions of Americans who want to have the means to protect their homes and family from criminals.

But is the fat lady singing while she holds the white flag?:D

From what I'm reading here I can only assume Rosie doesn't live in California. We live in a state where they're constantly attempting to ban handguns by making it too difficult to produce a "safe" handgun and now they're trying to limit how much handgun ammunition can be purchased lawfully. If she does live in California she is completely blind to the fact that the Brady Bunch, VPC, and other gun control groups are running the show here.

Yea I noticed that too, what a nutty cow. I guess some people just live in a bubble, refusing to accept that fact that there will always be crazy people out there.

I can't believe that Rosie O'Donnell still has a career. She's a 9/11 "inside job" conspiracist, once had a nervous breakdown on her TV show, has walked off the set in protest then left it on long term hiatus for treatment of acute depression, has offended numerous guests and employees of the very network that pays her (ABC and FOX's Bill O'Reilly, American Idol, Lindsay Lohan, Tom Selleck, Donald Trump, etc.), thinks Sen. Paul Wellstone's tragic death in a plane crash was a conspiracy on the part of Dick Cheney, and is generally a horrifying uncharismatic slob.

I think that the only reason that she still exists is because some network executives want to keep her visible because they hope that she'll completely disintegrate on national TV in a high profile incident some day. Gotta be good for ratings. She's their version of talk radio's 'Shock Jocks' only appearing daily on TV. Just like most people in the US, they know that she's an unhinged moonbat that's precariously riding the edge in danger of a complete psychotic collapse.

I'm no psychologist, but I think it's pretty evident that she's got a river of anti-psychotic/anti-depressant chemicals coursing through her bloodstream. I can't even imagine what the inside of her medicine cabinet holds. She's clearly an irrational paranoiac with serious rage and behavior control issues. Doping her up with higher doses of happy juice will only delay and even amplify the eventual blowout that's sure to come.

Whatever becomes of Rosie O'Donnell, the end won't be tranquil.

Yes, she's as stupid as we think.

And no, the NRA is not "scary" at all. Not to me, anyway. Organized? Nothing wrong with that, is there?

At the time it came out that Rosie's kid's bodyguard wanted permission from school officials to pack heat on school grounds ("for the children" - err, "for Rosie's kid") Angeles Crest Range was also had a promotion where you got a free one day pass if you signed up for the NRA.

I signed up Rosie's kid. Got my free pass.

Win-win for everyone.

Damn. Given the Twinkie shortage on the world spot market and the added stress of not being able to ban guns, hopefully she doesn’t go Dahmer and decide to eat her kids. Somebody better call Child Protective Services.
