Looks like a Mosin. Where? At some bar that has spirits and a T.V.

Yep definitely a Mosin. Looks like it's an older one. I believe it's got the early curved rear sight.

That's what I was thinking.
But I didn't notice it when I took the picture. Looks like a hex receiver with a curved rear sight. There is something about the handguard that has peaked my interest.

F the rifle... I'll take the cash all around it!

I'll bet we could make a phone call to the place and ask them what the date is on the receiver.
Remington?

I'm currently scouring google image search for that or a similar pic with the name of the establishment. So far my google-fu is looking pretty weak.

Its an M91. You can tell by the rear sight and the handguard seals the deal.

Sure looks like a bar near the entrance to Glacier Park. There's a smallish stage to the right of the TV (hang a right at the end of the bar)

I was going to guess Harold's First and Last Chance Saloon in Jack London Square, Oakland, but I think the bar in your photo has a level floor so that can't be right.

I took the picture at Middlegate, Nevada.
It's a hotel and saloon.

I didn't notice the rifle and am still trying to figure it out.

@rojo, How do you know it's an Imperial Mosin?

My guess is because of the dark wood.

Crap beat me to it. I've actually been there. Too bad the shoe tree is gone now.

Because of the way it looks; not only does it have the old kind rear sight in Arshins, but the rear barrel band does not look like a Soviet rifle.

https://www.libertytreecollectors.com/productcart/pc/catalog/DSC03904.JPG

Again, see how the rear band of the Soviet rifles looks different (and the rear sight in meters too)?

Yeah that's an early one could be any were between 1891-1930. The barrel band hand guard and rear sight give it away.

I thought that bar looked familiar! Also to call it a "hotel" is a bit of a stretch! Just a few miles out on 50 from there would bring you to the "shoe tree" in Nevada. It was removed a couple years back unfortunately. I have traveled that stretch of 50 many times over and love every bit of it on two wheels!
