What kind of guns are you looking to transport? Shotgun? Short or long barrel? Rifle? AR? AK? Optics?

That would help narrow down the options as well.

Say what you will about guitar cases, but I see people with them in L.A. all the time. See what people carry in your area, and pick what fits dimensionally. The good thing about a guitar bag is that it dimensionally fits things like ARs or AKs. Check out the soft ones - they're made of the same nylon most gun cases are made of, an with the same retaining straps inside.

My neighbors think I play guitar, nothing wrong with that. Handguns, see if you can find a Herbalife bag. Gotta be insane and on meth to steal one of those.

It's even called "discreet", that should meet your needs:

it would have to hold at least 2 ar-15 but if there is one that could hold the max 2 ar-15's and AR-10 all with optics

I plan on breaking the rifles apart when I transport them

I bought a golf bag but that didnt work

I use the UTG (http://www.airsoftatlanta.com/UTG_32_inch_Gun_Case_p/36385.htm)32 inch. My rifle will fit diagonal but it touches the sides so I'm not a fan of transporting it that way. I break it down when it's in the case. I don't even get a second glance when I'm walking to my car with it.

Ah what's wrong with the tried and true guitar soft case?! I'm sure my neighbors think I'm pretty good by now. LOL
Perhaps an SKB type hard shell golf case?

Nobody would ever know.

Utg 40" case. This is what I use. Good quality, has Velcro to hold two rifles and a built in holster and mag pouches for your pistol inside. I even put my under folder ak in the second pouch to carry 3 rifles and a pistol plus mags. I tell people it's a keyboard

I've been looking at baseball bags... the kind with the extended section that holds baseball bats. I figure that should be good for at least one long gun (that can't be broken down)

EDIT: ARG! Someone else beat me to it!

hilarious diaper bags to carry ammo, i might copy that

I was able to fit all three of my rifles in the baseball bag I bought without breaking them down with optics too
they are a good alternative

Dang Full Clip, was just going to post:

For my truck gun (KelTec SU-16B), a Razor scooter bag

A UTG for my Ranch Hand

I have always thought since guitars can be quite expensive and are easily pawn-able, that guitar cases were not the best inconspicuous case to use.

Here's a bag that will hold an AR broken down, it looks like a gym bag.

So if using a diaper bag, should I grab a baby bottle and put the oil in it?

How about those carry on your shoulder golf bags? Some even have a zipper on top to close.
