View Full Version : 10 round limiters PMAGS, where to find?

I was going to buy 3 pmags, and the 10 round limiters(that come in pack of three's) and make some legal pmags, but it seems there must be a run the limiters for some reason and no one that I would trust with my credit card number appears to have them in stock(online). I even went straight to the magpul website and it said "due to high demand only shipping to dealers".
Why is everyone out of stock?
and does anyone know of anyplace that is trustworthy(someone that you trust, or have used in the past)that has them in stock?

Unless you don't trust 44mag with your info.

That's where I got mine, you'll get all 10 rounds in.

Why not just buy the 10/20 or 10/30 PMAGs already blocked? http://www.calegalmags.com/1020-Magpul-Pmag-Magazine_p_423.html I bought half a dozen and they can also install the Ultimate Bullet Buttons for you too. Love them, they are great.

I did buy blockers for my 32 round Uzi magazine part kits from http://www.magazineblocks.com/magento/ because nobody sells them pre-made up. Kind of a hassle though compared to just ordering them from CalLegalMags.

Because I can buy rebuild kits And a sheet of kydex much cheaper than $22 for a pre-made one.

OP, you can always do what solar tactical does. They just cut little strips of kydex approx. 1/2" thick x 4" (going off memory) and insert them in the little slot in the PMAG behind the spring.

That's exactly why! plus I like to know how things work. The reasons I am buying Pmags is they are cheaper ordered online that buying regular 10 round mags locally, also I can hopefully some day change them back to their original capacity(or use them out of state).

Thanks for the idea!! after I see how these ones come out I can reverse engineer some myself, but I want to see how these ones work first then I can make my own.

I bought 3 Pmags from Riflegear.com and they all work great and actually fit 10 rounds unlike the mags I ordered off midwayusa (they fit 9).

I found this website here on the forums and bought 3 10/30 blocks and 3 10/20 blocks. Quick delivery and the blocks work great with the mags. They fit 10 rounds perfectly and can be loaded with a closed bolt!

+1bizilliongillion for magblocks.com aka zachs300zx, I love those blocks and all it takes is a little sanding to make it accept 10 rounds with a little more room. I like them so much that they are the only blocks I use on my PMAG's.

Guess I am just lazy. When I consider how long it took me to block half a dozen of the Uzi mags, I would rather just buy them finished. I work a lot so when I have time off, I want to go shooting, not wrenching, but I understand. Different priorities.

This is who I usually use. I trust him with CCs, and have had 0 issues since he opened up and brought us the Hammerhead grip.

Does the law require that blocked magazines be “permanently” blocked?

This is who I bought the pmags from, but they were out of the limiters. I bought from them after seeing something they posted on here and it sold me on buying from them even if they aren't the cheapest.

This subject has gone around and around, and I have discussed it with many people on here and in person and have come to the conclusion that with the limiter installed I am not violating the law. I have a good lawyer if some DA wants to push the issue, which I highly doubt will ever happen since I have never shot on a public range, and normally shoot on private property.
