Something that might strike a few folks as odd is that I am including the .410 in this because it can be had in a long gun such as the circut judge and (my pet project) the DFG MK-1 as well as revolvers like the BFR .410,Taurus Judge revolver series, and the Smith&wesson Governor.

Now keep in mind that the .410 isn't limited in effective range (It just matters if you are using the handgun calibers for the judge and governor revolvers or a well made slug load from a shotgun)

Marlin camp 9 and s&w 59, marlin/winchester lever action in 357 or 44 mag with revolver, also have ruger carbine in 9 or 40 along with beretta storm. There is the keltec sub 2000 in various mag configurations or Just Right Carbine with glock mags. Maybe a few more

A .357 set up would be aweosme since I know you can shoot .38 spc out of it also!

Available I have:
Several .22 rifles and pistols/revolvers
Lever & revolver .44 mag
Lever & revolver .357 mag
SA rifle & pistol 9mm
SA rifle & pistol .45

They're fun to shoot but if I need a rifle I want a rifle cartridge.

It's a waste of a good rifle. Buy a real rifle round. As a second choice, heck maybe a 20th or 30th choice a .357 is very versatile.

I've always pined for a .357 lever gun. It's perfect for pig hunting in california as you are never going to find a pig further than 100yards away in the vineyards. You don't need glass, it can be light, and simple. I have a .357 ruger blackhawk and it'd be nice to have a pair, easy to reload for both. Good ranch kit.

Red67 *Does Mill Lane impression* "I'll allow it" .30 carbine is fine and is chambered in more than a few single actions.

The AMT Automag 111 is a semi auto that shoots 30 carbine.

P90 and FN57. It's just silly in California due to the magazine limit laws, everywhere else though, it makes sense. Ammo is light.
