I really liked the idea of this LaRue drag bag that has bipod loops, only problem is the bag is too small to fit my Rem 700.

I instead purchased a drag bag from Eagle industries and am thinking about doing the mod myself. I like the idea of being able to really lean into the bipod. Anyone have a setup similar to this?

Thinking to sew the strap on the edge of the buttstock flap (pictured on the left) so the bipod can extend off the mat slightly and rest on the ground.

I do the bulk of my shooting off of bi pods and just do see the need unless the legs are real short or non flexible. The harris bi pods bend quite a bit so I do not see the need. That is not to say that it is a dumb idea or it is useless just personal preference.
