I'm on the fence between ordering a RRA predator pursuit 20" and the Varmint A4 20". They're both backordered for months so there's really no rush. On these uppers, as well as some from other manufacturers the front base on the gas block is .29' lover than the rear rail. Are there special sites made to compensate for the differences in these rails??

Hopefully this is not a tard question. Your input will be appreciated.

You would have to buy a front site that is made to sit on a gas block. YHM or Troy make them. Just don't use a Magpul it will melt.

You will sometimes see the suffix SP with the model number or description of a front sight. SP stands for same plane, meaning that it will be mounted on the same horizontal plane as the rear sight (railed handguard, etc). Others may be marked EXT or not marked at all, indicating the lower gas block height.

there is a little riser rail to solve that problem
or get a flip up front for the lower gas block rail, they sell those too
my dad just ran into this problem and bought the taller flip up sight $80
his gas block was low too
