Lets say you have 2G's to spend. Lets say you have a good array of different type of guns, AK, AR, bolt, several calibers of hand gun and a shotgun. Lets say you have a good amount of ammo but more is always better. What would you buy? A brand new $2000 gun, several guns, ammo or ammo and guns? Decisions decisions...

There will be an ammo and firearm shortage coming pretty soon with the election and the Mayan nuts -maybe invest in some uppers or ammo and think about what you really want and then when the shortage hits give us Calgunners a fair price ;). You can get 4 Stag uppers for $2k right now. Maybe go buy 15 or so Mosin's ... I don't know.

Ammo seems to be selling quite briskly at the moment and prices have edged up a bit.

Personally, unless there was a gun that I *really* wanted, I would be more inclined to buy ammo.

Probably one gun as a backup in the $500 range and the rest on ammo.

Problem is if I get the M1 I won't have money to buy ammo :(

Can't go wrong with either. But in these times I'd stock up on ammo.

You could get a nice Dillon rig for that kind of scratch, with plenty left over for components.
