I remember reading a thread on here about purchasing firearms as an LLC, etc. Now, I can't seem to find it using the search function.

Anybody have it linked? Or can we just start a new thread on this topic?

Could have that been as a Trust?

Could have that been as a Trust?

This was what I was thinking to.

OP: A lot of people use trusts or LLC's to acquire NFA items without needing a signature from their local CLEO. In California this is less common because there are so few NFA items that can be legally acquired by the average person.

Check out this thread if NFA items are what you're after.

For a bit more on NFA trusts check this one out.

To my knowledge LLC's were used more frequently years ago, but now that people have found that trusts work just as well they are used much more frequently because they are cheaper and easier to maintain. Of course each has its benefits.

That would explain why the search wasn't returning threads..

Thanks guys!
