im sitting on a psl parts kit. i need to get off my butt and get to a build party. but i lack the receiver and rivets. i dont know squat about building an ak style rifle. i was told to just get a flat and attend a build party and that i would be shown the reigns and leave with a functioning psl.
can anyone point me to a place to get a flat?

Sadly there are no PSL flats. Your options are 100% Romanian receivers from centerfire systems,or if you can find one US made by NoDak Spud. There are 80% blanks from cold steel solutions, but they are a LOT of work and not recommended for first time builders.

They like to play hard to get.;)
Seriously though they will ship those receivers to CA. They just take for freakin' ever so order now.

I was looking for a PSL rifle, and that well is dry. There IS someone on here selling a PSL parts kit and it comes with a reciever already "bent". Basically, you just have to put it together. Youll also end up with a lot of spare parts in the future.
Tujungatoes would be the expert on it. I guess you can sit on your butt and wait for one to pop up, or, sell the parts kit to someone like me

Try using Exile Machine as middleman for the PSL receiver.

And it is pretty easy to find a Romanian AK stock.
