The actual trial is scheduled to begin on the 23rd. Today was the mandatory settlement conference.

More information can be found here (http://banweb.co.fresno.ca.us/plsql/ck_public_qry_doct.cp_dktrpt_docket_report?case_id =01CECG03182&begin_date=&end_date=) and here (http://www.scselfservice.org/civ/general/manconf.htm).

That's something worth paying attention to.

Hunt V Ca is the correct way to attack the laws. Show how they are poorly crafted and show how impossible interpretation of them are even by trained personnel responsible for enforcing them.

That first link had Bill Lockyer as one of the defendants. Does that change now that JB is the AG?

JPN,

You are correct. At some point the case will likely be updated to be Hunt v. Brown.

Thanks Gene, hopefully that changeover doesn't somehow delay the case.
