I am writing a paper for my english class about LTC in CA, and am getting stuck with all the court cases. The one I am looking for in particular at this moment is a (recent?) Ca court ruling about LTC where the courts upheld stringent LTC regulations because UOC was legal. Now that AB 144 has passed though that is different... I have found Peruta, but for the life of me I can't find the other. Can someone help on this?

Any suggestions for this paper are also much appreciated :)

I believe the court used the same "UOC is legal" argument to justify their incorrect ruling in Richards v. Prieto that they did in Peruta.

Believe this was in San Diego, see:

This ruling ends the case in U.S. District Court. The Judge found summary judgment for Sheriff Gore and Plaintiffs
lost the case on all points. In her written opinion the Judge wrote that UOC is okay for self defense and the Court
does not need to decide whether the Second Amendment encompasses a right to carry a loaded handgun in public.
