Hi guys, i'm looking for another brake for my Saiga, my previous ones was ok on recoil and muzzle climb but it was very loud for people on either side of me. So time for a change, thinking about just using the slant brake, what do you guys think?

LOL, well yeah, i'm all about making the shooting experience pleasent for everyone, it's not only loud, you can feel a big gust of wind every shot on both sides.

Who cares if its too loud for others!
I was at range couple months ago n casings were hitting guy 3 lanes over he went to the RO and complained and they told me I couldbt shoot my ak's cause the guy with the ar was getting hit with my steel cases. What a waste of $14!

I've go an extra slant brake if you are interested. Its a 1x14LH thread.

Just stay with your current brake. If your thread has 1x14LH, try PWS J-Tac 47 or FSC 47. I've got them on my AK and I shoot with my brother on my side. He doesn't feel the wave and it is not that loud. it is different story with my AR though :cool2:

Oh yeah? Mine is M14x1 LH like yours, I'll look into these two. Thanks!

Cool. If you need a slant brake I have an extra one.

ChaneRZ how do the two different PWS brakes feel compared to each other?

I have a J-Tac 47 on my saiga, but only because I got a good deal on it and have always wondered how it compared to the FSC 47

Recoil wise I think they are the same. As for flash hiding capability, the FSC wins because of the prong at the end.

I ordered the Chaos warthog brake, we'll see if it works good for muzzle climb. It looks good though.
