How does the APEX trigger stack up against other striker-fired aftermarket triggers? I'm wondering because I've used 3.5lb Glock triggers and they felt nice, wondering if the APEX gives a similar feel.

I know that for my shooting it's like night and day between a standard 5.5lb striker trigger and a 3.5lb trigger since I'm primarily an SAO 3.5-4lb 1911 shooter. I figure with APEX guts and the M&P45 ergonomics it's probably the closest I could get to a polymer gun with similar 1911 feel, I'm definitely not a SA/DA shooter.

I think the duty kits are essential for my M&Ps. Some slack, a tiny bit of creep and then a clean break with no over travel. Not as nice as a worked over 1911 but it's still a great striker trigger system.

You may want to check out the Walther PPQ. Many people report that the stock PPQ trigger is superior to an Apex-equipped M&P...

Yeah I'd take that with a grain of salt.
