No and civilians should be allowed to hand AWs down to their children. For the State to say owned property can not be inherited is one of the reasons 13 colonies declared themselves independent from a tyrannical government.

I'm angry that some are more equal than others. If it's a right, it's a right.
Police should be able to own semi automatic rifles and so should we.

They should be just like anyone else, and that includes while off duty and during retirement.
Yes. Actually the right thing to do is get rid of the CA AWB.

No American citizen that has not lost their right to gun ownership(felon) should not be required to turn in any gun, for any reason. The 'awb' is ridiculous, do you think the Mexican drug cartels give a rats behind about a stupid Kalifornia gun ban? Does the criminal intent on harm have a 'bullet button'?
