Hi,

I notice my last purchase there also included an extra 4% for using my CC.

Is this a new policy? I don't recall seeing this extra charge on my previous purchases there.

Thanks

I don't know about Riflegear, but many places list a "cash" price, and it often tells you in small print somewhere that a non-cash purchase will include a surcharge.

Depending on the CC that you used, they could be in violation of the Terms of Service of the CC Company.

Every originator except for Discover forbids surcharging credit card sales, however, as MasterCard so clearly states, "A Merchant may provide a discount to its customers for cash payments."

I sent you a PM asking for an invoice/order number. But the answer is "No", we do not add an additional charge for using a credit card. We have a cash price listed for LaRue Tactical rifles on our website, but just because the margins are so low and we don't want to list them over MSRP, but nothing else.

Regards,
David

Yes it was a Larue toy.

Thanks for the clarification.
