We currently have a good supply of Vulcan Model V62 7.62x39 caliber AR/AK stripped lowers for $119.95. We also have the Vulcan stripped uppers to match these for $75.00. Both can be purchased through our website at www.ddsranch.com

I wanted to ask some questions about this before I ordered it.
Can these lowers use the same uppers, bolt, and bolt carrier as the AR that use 7.62x39 AR mags. Like this http://www.model1sales.com/item-detail.cfm?ID=KCO762&storeid=1&image=car16post762.gif

Or do they need the special bolt and bolt carrier since they are using the AK mag in the AR lower. Like this http://www.mgimilitary.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=23 and this http://www.mgimilitary.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=25

I know that you need a different upper with a different barrel but I just wanted to check about the bolt carrier and bolt. Because I dont want to buy a kit that comes with a bolt and bolt carrier that are meant for AR type 7.62x39 magazines and not AK type 7.62x39 magazines that will be used with this lower.

Thanks

What uppers work with this lower. Or I should say does the DPMS upper work with this lower and AK mags?
Thanks.

Don't take my word as gospel here, but I'm pretty sure that the MGI bolt carrier would be unnecessary, as that bc is meant for use with the MGI QCB system. Your best bet would be to do some reading around on Vulcan's site...

That's a good suggestion. Also, if you know Pat from Metroshot or Joe from Joeken, ask them, they are pretty up on these things. These are pretty new to me and am not too familiar with them.
