I'm struggling with trying to find my traffic history / every encounter I've ever had with an on duty LEO.

Is there a website to go to to find all your previous violations? I've never been arrested, and the few speeding tickets I've gotten have all been "erased" with traffic school. I went to the DMV today and my $5 report came back with "none".

I don't want to leave info off and have it bite me in the butt, or take a guess of when I was pulled over last, and have that guess be wrong.

TIA!

Did you get the 3 year report or the 10 year report?

If you only got 3 years go back and get the 10 year report.

If it happened more than 10 year ago I wouldn't worry about it.

You need to read our LTC guides and reference materials (http://www.calgunsfoundation.org/resources/downloads/category/9-carry.html). See, especially, the response to the subject application section as found in our exemplar application (http://www.calgunsfoundation.org/resources/downloads/file/42-dojstdccwapp.html).

Except as authorized pursuant to this section, no requirement,
charge, assessment, fee, or condition that requires the payment of
any additional funds by the applicant, or requires the applicant to
obtain liability insurance, may be imposed by any licensing authority
as a condition of the application for a license.

Cal. Penal Code Section 26190(g).

A 3 year drivers history report doesn't show anything past 3 years. If you haven't had any driving infractions within that 3 years it will report "none".

A 10 year history will show ALL infractions.

Very cool info Brandon. Thank you. I'm still reading the Exemplar Application but wanted to thank you for this great info.

I got the drivers license info request. It did have a accident from 06, but no speeding tickets.

Thanks for the info on the Example app. I guess I'll just use the disclaimer that was provided on page 8 Section 2, #8.

I'd still like to know if there is any way to acquire the traffic violations / LEO contact info.

I just want to sit down at the interview with the same info on my side of the table, as they have on their side.

Your obligation is to be truthful on the application. You won't have access to the information they will have but you can request traffic reports via DMV and criminal history via DOJ here (http://oag.ca.gov/fingerprints/security).
