View Full Version : Colt RG,1911 NM barrel

From time to time I read that the barrel of a 1911,45 ACP has a sort of bulge on the muzzle area,the reason why you have to pullback the slide partially to avoid the bulge area of the barrel before you remove the bushing. This will prevent wearing off of the bulge in the long run. However, my colt RG with NM barrel does not have this bulge on the muzzle area. Is this normal for a NM barrel? My SA TRP has this bulge. Any input is appreciated Bros!!!
Thank you.

RG= Rail gun
Its a 1911 colt,XSE,govt model
