Dick!

All of the SD walmarts i frequent have been completely out of the good stuff since they restocked after their little ammo selling hiatus

With a rare exception there has always been what I wanted to buy in the cabinets at the walmart in San Jacinto. Now, finding someone to help you at the hours that I go in shopping for ammo, that's another story that usually ends with me very pissed off having to wait 20 minutes for them to get the person with the key over to the cabinet.

After waiting for ten minutes I either walk out or demand to see the floor manager immediately. It depends on how much of a jerk I feel like being that day.

Wal-mart in Milpitas as some .40 100-value packs. I know that they place orders for 9mm but their warehouse is out.

They must've had 40 boxes of the 9mm on several shelves last time I checked my walmart

Just a heads up, but in my last few boxes of federal champion I found a couple rounds that were set in too far. Personally I prefer to spend the $2 more for wwb because it seems to be more consistent overall and cleaner.

YMMV

San Marcos Walmart has been very low on stock

Last night I was there late at about 11:30pm (to late to buy ammo) and there were 4 or 5 boxes of the 100 round federal 9mm. I went as soon as I was off work this evening at 7pm and they were all gone. They told me someone bought them all first thing in the morning. Also there price on the 50 round box's went up another dollar to 11.98... grrrrrr

I check every time I'm there and last night was the first time I have EVER seen the 100 round boxes in stock.

I've been to three different Walmart over the past 6 months about 20 times and have never seen those. i was starting to think it was a joke someone made up to screw with people.

I bought the last two boxes at my local Walmart. I was told by the clerk that ammo prices are currently going up again. Get it while you can before it goes up.

Cabela's has the .22 Federal Value pack on sale. Four boxes of 550 rounds for $79.99. That includes a plastic ammo box.
With the $5 shipping, that seems a pretty good deal. Couple more days...

Must have gotten a truck this morning then. Lots of the .40 Fed value packs.. No 9mm though and no Americal Eagle .223. ANd yes, they raised the price on those AE .223 from $5.97 to $6.97. Forget to check if those price increases also affected the 100 round value packs.

When I didn't have a reloading press, the shelves were always empty when I was looking for ammo. Now I have a press, they always have some on the shelf when I pass by.

Walmart Mountain View has the biggest selection and is stocked more often.
