In short, does the 30 day handgun limit also include PPT purchases? I bought my handguns from a shop, but I seen a CZ from I private party I want. I almost already know the answer, but if there is a slim chance, I would love this CZ. Thanks!

PPTs (where you and the private seller both go to the same gun shop) are exempt from the 1 per 30 day rule.

Does that also apply to a gun shipped from one FFL in say Souther CA to anther FFL in Northern on behalf of the seller?? Or does it only apply to FTF (buyer and seller) at the same location?

Interested in getting a gun from fellow Calgunner in So Cal

When shipping from one FFL (or individual who is not an FFL, which is legal but some FFLs won't accept handgun delivery from an individual - call your FFL first to confirm) to another FFL, regardless of locations, it's no longer considered a PPT and would therefore fall into the 1 in 30 category for handguns.

As others have mentioned, PPT is exempt from 30 day rule for handgun.
However, the 30 day rule for handgun won't affect you if you have C&R License + COE.

Thanks . . . that's what I thought just wanted to make sure.

Found a gun in Southern California just didn't want to make the drive for PPT AND a second drive after 10 days.

I wish I could get a regular FFL just to get dealer pricing.:)
