Anyone Have any other info I'm trying to get the manuals and more info as well as ballpark worth. The carbon fiber barrel doesn't affect the take down or operation of the weapon. Maybe the barrel would need special care when attaching it (which I seriously doubt), but unless you plan on replacing a barrel you don't have to worry about it.
The regular Model 700 manual should do, unless you have a key-locked electronic trigger, which would make your rifle the m700 etronx

Nothing different from a Rem 700 other than the barrel. I played with one in the late 90's and was unimpressed with the Christiansen barrel. It did its main function of being super light, but accuracy was spotty. Eventually I put a 3 pound pressure point on the front of the stock and it tightened the groups alot. Similar to what you would see with a skinny hunting barrel.
