Difference between a pre-ban magazine and one bought in say 1989 or 1992? Can either be sold now w/out being sold as a rebuild kit?

Thanks

Click your back button, scroll to the top of the page, look for "Sticky: Magazines: all the answers you need (Multi-page thread 1 2 3)"

Start at the beginning and read.

There is no such thing as a "pre-ban" or "post-ban" "large-capacity magazine", and it doesn't matter. Markings on magazines have no legal meaning.

You cannot sell, transfer, or give Hi Cap mags in CA no matter when they were made. You may keep in your posession one you owned before 2000. You can take apart and sell as kits only.

OK, you seem to want people to do your homework for you and give you legal advise on the internet. Sorry, that's not a good idea when it comes laws that can send you to prison. Go to DOJs website and read the actual text of the law for yourself.
