My understanding was that the Ruger 22/45 with the removable wood panels was NOT on the roster but the cheaper version was.

I've been looking, scanning and asking but all the local FFLs told me it's not on the list.

Well, at the Ontario gun show today I saw a new one for sale at Gunrunners.. guy said they were ok to sell.. Does anyone know if this is on the list now?

Was hoping for the one in stainless/flutted, but I would be happy to get this close.

Hmm.. maybe they don't make stainless any longer.. so is model 10140 on the roster now?

Thier price was $349

This is the one I "really" want.. but I don't see it on the Ruger website.

That's not it.. it was black, but without the flats on the barrel and with the wood Ruger grips..

I has to be on the roster, right? After all, they had it on display and offered to sell it to me. I would have but I didn't come prepared to buy a gun (just stuff).

Not on the list yet....
I just checked the roster and it is not listed nor on the recently added.

The model number for the 22/45 with the replaceable panels is:
P512 MkIII RP (RP stands for "replaceable panels")
RP must be included as a specific model, so it cannot be transferred as the P512 MKIII.

No news if it ever will be?

Then how was Gunrunners selling it.. said new on the tag? And on the Ruger site the model number is 10147 for the model I saw (no RP)

Guess I should go try to buy it real quick! lol

Don't know, but here is the ruger page with it:
http://www.ruger.com/pdf/specs/2245RP.pdf

Use the Catalog number not the model number to find it on the Roster.
Catalog has the P512 MKIII RP.

I saw that myself today @the gun runner both and I ask my self the same question. It was new we tried to go down on the price but the clerk didn't budge. I just bought one a month ago from turners but had to mill the frame to install 1911 grips + bushings.????

So what happens if it's not on the roster and I buy it.. does it get hung up in DROS?
