Has anyone sent in a Glock slide to Smyrna for a factory slide refinish? If so, are you happy with result?

Any older Gen 2 Glock owners that have sent in their slides for a Glock factory refinish, please tell us whether this was a good experience or not. I've read mixed results on glocktalk and other forums.

I’ve heard of Glock doing this but i’ve never done it myself.
If you don’t send it into glock were you thinking about having it refinished elsewhere?
Bump for anyone whose done this.

I looked into local gun shop rebluing - about $100. I researched Duracote and Cerakote. I like the Cerakote concept more. Each were about $100. I also looked at cold dipping camo patterns for about $75.
The Glock warranty deal is $60 plus one way shipping to Glock. They ship it back. They will also add night sights for $57 more. You can find the .pdf on the Glock.com customer service section.
But I have read good and bad results so I was hoping to see / hear some first hand experience.
