This is not on the list for "safe guns" but was bought many moons ago before that list was ever thought of. So my question is about selling it. I dont need the receipt from it to sell do I? I assume since it is a handgun and regestered they know it was bought along time ago correct?
My last question is what would a good deal be on this. meaning what should I sell it for to get it to move fast?
as always thanks for the responces and keeping me from doing something against the law.

Nope, you don't need to worry about the handgun roster. If you sell it, it falls under PPT, so Roster doesn't count.

Check out the private sales forum, and do a price comparison. I've seen them on there from 600-800.

oops last silly question I promis. the 16 round mag is ok to go with the gun as it was with the gun long before the 10 round count.
I know its ok but I just want reasurance.
the goverment does a good job of scaring the heck outta me as you can tell. I know this stuff but I am so scared I second guess myself on every thing gun related.

If you are selling it for $600, then it wouldn't matter with or without the mag because I will take it. :D

Well, if you are in or near OC of course...

NO! you can NOT sell it with the 16 rd Mag. Mags greater than 10rd can not be sold or transfered in CA.

Or you can disassemble the Mag or block it down to 10rnds and include it also...
