Who sells a decent priced 20inch complete upper or rifle kit?

A couple ideas:

You looking for an A2 or an A4?
For A4, Reductio nailed it. PSA is good stuff. Other brands to consider that make a 20" A4 upper are BCM, Stag, Armalite.
For A2... you can buy em new, but it's smarter to buy from the classifieds here or on AR15.com. I see complete USGI A2 uppers go for $300-400. I got a BNIB complete Armalite A2 upper on the classifieds here for a little over $400. A2 ain't what Costa uses so it ain't cool anymore. :43:

how do you guys like your 20inch rifles? Im torn between the 16inch and 20inch although i quite like the traditional look of the 20

20" rifle gas is the smoothest shooting out of all the AR configurations. It also gives you the most velocity by a significant margin.
The only downsides to a 20" rifle are weight and length. These are a nonissue unless you are using it inside your house for home defense.

You could go with a mid length or a dissipator build. PSA offers a mock dissy build. Unless you really want the extra velocity, a mid length will feel as smooth as a rifle length.
The Stag is nice because the standard 20" A4 is a medium contour. Gov't profile (like the PSA) is really thin under the handguards and will start whipping the bullets when it heats up. The Stag is a 9 twist though, so that may limit your bullet choices if you handload. I have found the heaviest they will shoot is Sierra 77's.

This, add BCG, charging handle and handguard. Can't go wrong with BCM, its reasonably priced even adding up all the necessary goodies. And, in-stock.

Bushmaster 20" Predator upper has served me well over the past couple months.
