Anyone else read the New York Times blog At War: Notes from the Front Lines by C.J. Chivers? IMO he writes some really fascinating articles re. gun related issues in the war in Afghanistan as well as other topics.

He wrote a book called 'the gun' last year about the design and history of the Kalashnakov series of rifles. Good read, worth the money. Its a shame he is attached to such a p***** paper like the NYT, you can hardly blame the guy though. NYT is at the top of the p***** paper heap...
